All India Sir Syed Day Essay Writing Competition 2022 is being conducted by Indian Integrated Community Health Association (IICHA), Literary Club, CEC, AMU Aligarh& Semnan Imperial guild (Sig), Aligarh (UP) India. The competition is in the Urdu/Hindi language on the topic “Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s Thought on religion & nationalism”. Candidates who are the student of a university or a college can participate in this competition. There is an entry fee Rs. 50/-for an essay writing competition and the applicant has to send the article in soft copy in PDF only.

Eligibility Conditions

The eligibility required to participate in this competition is as follows:

• A candidate must be a student of a university or a college.
• Students above 12^th standard are eligible to apply.

Rewards

• The first prize winner will get an amount of INR 10,000/-, the second prize winner will get INR 7,500/-while the third prize winner will get INR 5,000/-.
• The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners will also get AC- 3 tier class railway fare at the time of distribution of awards.
• The toppers of the zonal level (North, South, East, West & Central) will be awarded an amount of INR 2,500/-.
• Zonal toppers will receive prize money in bank account and certificates by mail.
• Northern Zone: Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, and Rajasthan;
• Central Zone: Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh;
• Eastern Zone: Assam, Arunachal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura and West Bengal;
• Western Zone: Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra;
• Southern Zone: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.

Application Procedure

The details regarding the application process of All India Sir Syed Essay Writing Competition are given below:

1. Applicants have to submit the soft copy of the essay in PDF along with the required documents.
2. The essay must be written on A4 size paper, typed in double space on one side containing around 2500-3000 words.
3. Students have to send the essay along with a certificate from the College /University along with correspondence address, contact number and Email ID of the participant, duly forwarded by the Head of the Institution to the below address or email address.

• The handwritten essay will not be accepted.

Important Date

Students can now apply for this competition. The last date to submit the essay is 28th February 2022. The prizes will be announced / distributed on the occasion of “124^thSir Syed Death anniversary” i.e., on 27th March 2022.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the students will be done on the basis of their performance in the essay competition and will be judged by a jury of expert of the language & subject.
